European Universities Badminton Championship 2023
Hosted by the University of Miskolc, just outside of Budapest in Hungary, players from Universities across Europe descended on the city to compete for the European title.
Several Ashaway sponsored players took part in both the team and individual events; representing the University of Nottingham.
Not only were they successful in the team event, the University of Nottingham Ashaway team were also victorious in the below individual events.

- Defeating fellow team members of University of Nottingham in the final, 22-20, 18-21, 21-18

Sian Kelly + Miu Lin Ngan – Winners of the Ladies Doubles
- Defeating University of Strassbourg in the final, 21-17, 21-18

Sian Kelly + Sam Smith – Winners of the Mixed Doubles
- Defeating University of Strassbourg in the final, 12- 21, 21-17, 21-15
A great show for the brand and an amazing achievement for all the players involved, becoming European University Champions. A big well done to all our fantastic Ashaway Team and to the University of Nottingham!
