British Squash Nationals

Great Weekend for Julianne

Some great performances from both Black Knight and Ashaway sponsored players at the British Squash National Championships held in Nottingham.

Julianne Courtice had a great tournament, losing out to eventual winner Sarah- Jane Perry in an epic Quarter Final battle.

Daryl Selby suffered some bad luck during his tournament, sustaining an injury in an incident during his first round match, which ultimately was a factor in his second round loss to George Parker.

Alison Waters also suffered an injury during the event. However, she still put in an impressive performance, defeating Lily Taylor in the first round and reaching the Quarter Finals. Ashaway string user, Jasmine Hutton was the victor over Alison in this Quarter Final match, having a fantastic tournament herself, reaching the Final.

Ashaway sponsored player Alicia Mead also had a positive tournament, progressing through qualifying into the main draw.  Using the New Ashaway Powerkill Meta ZX racket.

A great tournament was had for Ashaway string users, Millie Tomlinson and Adrian Waller, both reaching the semi-finals. Millie coming close to defeating eventual winner Sarah-Jane Perry, and Adrian losing out to Joel Makin. Millie uses the Ashaway Powernick 18 and Adrian, the Ashaway Multinick 18.

Well done all, some great results!
