Over 6000 athletes from across the United Kingdom will convene in Sheffield at the end of next week for the annual BUCS Gatorade Nationals. The multi-sport competition, which is taking place between 21^st -23^rd February across an array of world class facilities in Sheffield, will see students compete for honours in athletics, badminton, boxing, climbing, fencing, judo, karate, rifle, swimming, tenpin and trampolining.

The prestigious event is organised and hosted by British Universities & Colleges Sport (BUCS), the national governing body for higher education sport in the UK, and attracts a number of high profile athletes many of whom will be hoping for stand out performances ahead of this summer’s Commonwealth Games in Glasgow.
