Black Knight Announce ion Element PSX Selby²

Introducing the all new ion Element PSX Selby².
The innovative head shape uses Squacket Technology® to provide a 42% larger effective hitting area (EHA) than a conventional racket. Unlike a normal racket, with main and cross strings of varying length, the Squacket Technology® Head Shape equalizes the length of main cross strings in the stringbed, greatly enlarging the sweetspot, providing more consistent shot accuracy, even on off-centre hits.
Originally inspired by a griddle pan, head of racket design at Black Knight HQ Dr. Lari F. Pools said the eureka moment came whilst impatiently waiting for his wife to cook his steak at dinner time. “She took the pan out the drawer and that’s when it hit me”. Dr. Pools was so impressed at the sheer force and accuracy his wife’s swing generated, he set about utilising his experience in racket technology.
The four sided dream was to become a reality and prototypes were soon in the hands of Black Knight's star man Daryl Selby for testing. “I wasn’t sure about it at first, but as soon as I had a hit, I knew my signature model had to be like this”. With that, the ion Element PSX Selby² was born.
